Terms of Service

Last updated April 27, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Arincen Ltd. (“Pilotiq”, “we”, “us”) and govern your use of the Pilotiq website, hosted product, paid plugins, and the open-source Pilotiq CMS (the “Service”).

Please read them carefully. By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using Pilotiq on behalf of a company, you confirm that you have authority to bind that company to these Terms.

1. Your account

  • You must provide accurate information when you sign up and keep it current.
  • You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including activity by your teammates and any agents you configure.
  • Keep your credentials confidential. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use Pilotiq.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you will not:

  • Use Pilotiq to publish, generate, or distribute unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or harmful content.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise discover the source code of our hosted product or paid plugins (the open-source CMS is governed by its own license — see below).
  • Probe, scan, or test the security of the Service without prior written permission.
  • Use the Service to generate spam, malware, or content that violates a third party’s rights.
  • Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the hosted Service except as expressly permitted.
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of everything you create or upload to Pilotiq — articles, brand assets, schemas, agent configurations, integrations, and outputs (“Your Content”).

You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, copy, display, transmit, and process Your Content solely as needed to operate the Service for you. This license ends when you delete the content or terminate your account, except for backups that are removed on the schedule described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for making sure you have the rights to upload and publish Your Content.

4. AI-generated output

Pilotiq uses third-party AI models. Outputs from those models are surfaced as suggestions inside the diff-approval workflow, and nothing is published until you approve it.

  • You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated output before publishing or relying on it. AI models can produce inaccurate, biased, or otherwise inappropriate content.
  • When you bring your own AI key, the AI provider’s terms apply to that traffic in addition to these Terms.
  • Subject to applicable law and the AI provider’s terms, we do not claim ownership of AI output you generate inside Pilotiq.
  • Pilotiq does not warrant that AI output is accurate, complete, fit for any particular purpose, or non-infringing.

5. Plans, billing, and credits

  • Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. Annual plans receive 20% off list price.
  • Each paid plan includes a monthly Pilotiq Credit allowance for AI usage. Credits reset on your billing date and do not roll over.
  • When credits are exhausted, you can top up at any time, or connect your own AI provider key for unlimited usage at provider cost.
  • Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. If you cancel mid-cycle, your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period.
  • We may adjust pricing for new billing cycles with at least 30 days’ notice.
  • Failed payments may result in suspension or termination of your account.

6. Free trials

Paid plans include a 14-day free trial. A valid payment method is required to start the trial. We will not charge you until day 15. You can cancel at any time during the trial without being billed.

7. Open source

The Pilotiq CMS itself — including the editor, schema builder, diff-approval UI, Brand Hub, GitHub connection, and content API — is open source. You may use, modify, and self-host it under the terms of the public repository’s license.

Our paid plugins (the agent library, the AI orchestration layer, and the media library) are not open source and are licensed only as part of a paid Pilotiq subscription, including under the Bring-Your-Own-Key model on a self-hosted CMS.

8. Intellectual property

Pilotiq, our paid plugins, the Pilotiq name, logo, and visual identity are owned by Arincen Ltd. and are protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of these rights to you.

Feedback you send us about the Service is non-confidential and we may use it freely to improve the product.

9. Third-party services

Pilotiq integrates with third-party services (AI providers, GitHub, Google Drive, Stripe, Slack, and others). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or behavior.

10. Termination

  • You can cancel your subscription or delete your account at any time from your workspace settings.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, for non-payment, or to protect the Service or other users.
  • After termination you will have at least 30 days to export Your Content, after which it will be permanently deleted on the schedule described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pilotiq disclaims all warranties — express, implied, or statutory — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated output will be accurate or fit for any specific use.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pilotiq, its affiliates, and its suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months immediately before the event that gave rise to the claim, or USD 100, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations — in that case the limitations apply to the maximum extent permitted.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold Pilotiq harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.

14. Changes to the Service or these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify account holders by email or in-product at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.

We may also change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service. We will give reasonable notice before discontinuing a feature that paid customers actively rely on.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The courts of London, United Kingdom have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except where local consumer law gives you stronger rights.

Before filing a formal claim, please contact us at [email protected] — we’ll do our best to resolve issues directly.
